本機は3アーク、3ワイヤ、4電源のサブマージアーク溶接方式を採用。溶接方式は片面及び両面成形である。本機は主にメインマスト、溶接台車、溶接ガン上下昇降装置、溶接ガン左右移動装置、サブマージアーク溶接追跡装置、上部フラックス循環装置、溶接パラメーターメモリー（コントローラー）、電磁プラットフォーム装置、銅ライニング装置、フラックス散布・除去車、下部フラックス回収装置、サブマージアーク溶接システムなどで構成されています。本装置は中国初のもので、現在、大連造船工業、揚子新富造船、彩泰造船、振華港機などの国内主要造船所で採用されている。
